About the Quitman Garden Club


The Quitman Garden Club is a non-profit community organization that works to further its goals of education, conservation, historic preservation, and community service.  The Quitman Garden Club was organized in 1952 (following its predecessor the Woman’s Club of Quitman) and is affiliated with The Garden Club of Georgia.   The Garden Club of Georgia is a non‐profit educational organization founded in 1891. It has over 12,000 members in 420 clubs statewide.


   The Quitman Garden Club meets on the second Tuesday of each month from September to May.  Activities include guest speakers, field trips, community service projects, and organizing the annual Quitman Camellia Show.  Our club currently has 36 members: 30 women and 6 men.  We welcome new members anytime.
